ID THIEVES USING VIDEO PHONES AT CREDIT/DEBIT CARD MACHINES

      Beware of people behind you at a retail store who are using their cell phone while you enter your credit card or debit card information into the terminal at the counter.  ID thieves have recently been reported to be surreptitiously aiming their video phones at the terminal while shoppers enter their credit card or debit card  numbers and PIN.  The thieves then later review the film to decipher the numbers entered.  Even the video phones limited to less than 30 seconds of film still provide ample time to record the keystrokes that could destroy your credit.  Thieves can also take a photo of your driver's license data. You should also be leery of anyone using a cell phone immediately behind you at an ATM.
